Apple Day 2021

On April 1, 2021, Moscow Economic School with Apple Professional Development coaches held Apple Day, an information technology festival, for the 4th time. The festival’s motto was «The MES ecosystem: the momentum of everyone’s development».

The festival participants learned about effective approaches to the application of Apple technologies in the framework of International Baccalaureate programs, as well as new ways to implement MES’s Digital Citizenship policy. Apple coaches, teachers and students fr om the Apple Genius Team conducted master classes on nine components of MES’s Digital Citizenship Policy. These classes revealed the relationships, rights and obligations, rules and norms that are established in the school’s digital space: access, security, health, rights and obligations, digital law, etiquette, literacy, communication and commerce. The results of the sections can be seen in the Instagram MASH.

Within the framework of the festival, MES Expo 2021, the first competition of IT projects, was held in the two branches of the Moscow Economic School. Visitors were able to get acquainted with the best projects and vote for the one they liked the most.

In our unique «Apple Road» museum in the Odintsovo branch, the only museum of Apple technology, which is located within the walls of the educational institution, a new page of the Apple Road gallery was opened. It depicts the members of the Apple Genius Team in 2019-2020. The names of these thirteen students of both departments are now inscribed in the history of Moscow Economic School.
