First ever MES QUIZ SHOW huge success!

On Friday October 13, as part of the English Week celebration, students and teachers in grades 5-10 participated in the first ever Moscow Economic School QUIZ SHOW!

Students from all participating grades were divided into seven (7) teams, and an additional teacher team was selected from subject teachers in those grades.

English language and literature teachers, with the help of their colleagues, designed quiz questions based on the works of literature students read and researched for English Week, as well as on popular culture in the English speaking world.

Teams went head to head for five (5) rounds, with questions including character riddles, little-known facts about movies and literature, popular movie and television show theme songs, and visual-based logic and blitz questions.

Prizes were awarded to the top three teams, who were given the titles Quiz Experts, Quiz Masters and Quiz Super-Genesises. Awards were also given for the best photographs posted to Instagram after the game and to the top team Captains.

While the English Week QUIZ SHOW was the first of its kind at Moscow Economic School, more events like it are planned for the future.
