The final event of this academic year for the Foreign Languages department was the international exams sessions in English, Spanish, German and French Languages.

The last quarter during the PE lessons at the elementary school of the Odintsovo Campus ended with the athletics competition «Queen of Sports»

On May 19, the "Last Call" for students of grades 9 and 11 took place in the Odintsovo Campus of the Moscow Economic school.

On Friday, May 21st, students from two campuses took the DELE International examinations in Spanish language.

We will remember this year as one for training.

On the 5th and 6th of May the final tour of the Caribou Contest was held.  The contest’s winners will be announced based on the total of each round.

On April 30, students of grades 1-11 gathered in the White Hall for a Special Assembly "The glory of these days will never cease".

During the month of April, students at MES celebrated Russia’s Victory Day with an all school continuing event called “Thirty Days Until Victory.”

On the 29 of April the traditional 8th grade presentation “Persuasive Public speech” was held in the Odintsovo Campus.

On Wednesday 21st April, several of our students from the 5th – 9th classes sat the A1 (Elementary) and A2 (Pre-Intermediate) German Language exam, ‘FIT’, which is the International German Language Exam for young people at the Goethe Institute.

Over the past week, both campuses of the Moscow Economic School underwent a live inspection by the Council of International Schools (CIS) in order to renew our re-accreditation.

On April 15, the Charity Fund of the Moscow Economic School organized the 5th School Philharmonic Charity Concert within the framework of the «Give Joy to Children» program.

The Caribou Mathematics Competition or Caribou Cup is an international online math contest held six times over the school year. As all resources are completely virtual, they are as well-suited to distance learning, as they are to the traditional school environment.

On Wednesday, the 7th of April, in the Zaitsevo campus of the Moscow Economic School, the annual PYP exhibition (PYPX) took place.

The world celebrates the International Children’s Book day on April 2 to mark the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, a world-renown writer of fairy tales.

On April 1, 2021, Moscow Economic School with Apple Professional Development coaches held Apple Day, an information technology festival, for the 4th time. The festival’s motto was «The MES ecosystem: the momentum of everyone’s development».

The 4th N.M. Matyash Charity Festival (nicknamed the Theatrical Spring 2021) was held on February 27. The best of our young performers from both Presnya and Odintsovo campus presented their acts to the audience and to the Festival Jury. In art and IT lessons, our students designed theatrical masks, costumes and posters for their productions. At the Odintsovo campus, the children recorded a video dictionary during their music and drama lessons. (They called it a “Theatrical Alphabet!”) Students at the Presnya campus created a video about the life and art of Vasily Ivanovich Lanovoy. Several years ago, he was an Honorary Guest artist at our school and he even performed in front of our parents and students.

In the junior group of the kindergarten of the Odintsovo branch of the MES, a wonderful spring holiday was held.

Traditionally, in May, IB DP Year 2 students pass the final exams in order to receive the certificate of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP), this year the examination session will be organized from 30, April to 20, May 2020.

On the 11th March, a festive ceremony of student awards was held in the Odintsovo campus of Moscow Economic School. It was devoted to presenting the results of the IV MES Charity Theatre Festival "Theatre Spring - 2021" and the results of the III term.

In the preschool department "Presnya" held a spring holiday. The guys tried very hard and the performance turned out to be wonderful!

On March 5th, MES Presnya campus hosted the final stage of its PYP Exhibition. This was a very important day for our PYP students. They had to demonstrate their research skills while working in groups. They were all excited about the result of their teamwork and each one created an excellent presentation. During the opening ceremony, the 4th year students sang the song " PYP Exhibition " and performed an energetic dance in the style of a flash mob. At the end of the day, the students and their parents shared their thoughts about the day.

On March 4, 2021, the pre-school at MES «Presnya» campus held their concert, which was dedicated to family values. The main idea of the show was about what to give to our loved ones.

If you ever miss Valentine’s Day, you have one more chance! International Women’s Day! International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on the 8th March around the world to recognize the notable economic, political and social achievements of women around the world.

On Friday, March 5th the 9th Grade at our Odintsovo campus presented their personal projects. This is a crucial element of the IB program which was traditionally followed by the Moscow Economic School since it was established in 1993.

On March 3, 2021, the Moscow Economic School held the Olympiad Russian Bear in its two campuses.

Before the submission of the final report to the IBO, MES students make 15-minute presentations in front of the school community to share their interests and to show results of their work. Teachers, parents, coordinators and Grade 8 students are present.
